Wisconsin judoka find success in national and international competitions. To support Wisconsin based players, a development fund has been established to support Wisconsin competitors.

To encourage junior players, an annual award to recognize the achievements of Wisconsin junior athletes has also been established.

Funding for players requesting financial support for competing at national and international events is available via WJI. Support for specific events include:

• Youth and Scholastic National Championship
• USA Judo Junior Olympic National Championships
• Senior National Championships
• President’s Cup
• US Open
• USJA/JF (summer) National Tournament (Kata only).
• All IJF Judo events

In order to further promote exemplary and competitive judo at the highest levels and to provide a mechanism to recognize our Junior Judoka, WJI has established an annual award to recognize Wisconsin’s top junior athletes.
